I am a big fan of Eric Gill. Eric Gill was a British sculptor, engraver, typographic designer, and writer, especially known for his elegantly styled lettering and typefaces and the precise linear simplicity of his sculptures.

I first came across Eric Gills work while researching Aubrey Beardsley (who had a similar style) for a school project. I fell in love with his flat Bible illustrations immediately, and was inspired to make my own versions.
